Situated in a beautifully restored 17th Century Cottage with a modern luxury feel Rose Cottage provides the perfect setting for family holidays, celebrations and more.

Overview

3 Rose Cottages is the second of our two semi-detached holiday homes and sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with the option to sleep 2 additional guests downstairs.  It has off road parking, an enclosed rear garden and is fully equipped with everything you could need for a wonderful break away.

Downstairs

You enter the property into the spacious dining/reception room which features a large corner sofa (which can be converted into additional guest beds) and wooden dining table which seats 6.

To the left of the reception is the living room which has a working log burner, perfect for a cosy evening in.  A complimentary sack of logs can be provided for your stay, please request this upon booking.  This room has double doors to the rear garden and the outdoor seating area so is also ideal for summer stays.

The country styled kitchen is perfectly placed for this type of property and is well equipped with all you need for your stay.  It has a wooden breakfast bar that seats 3 and double doors which open onto to the enclosed rear garden.

Downstairs is tiled throughout with underfloor heating for a wonderful cosy stay and is serviced by a downstairs toilet/cloakroom for convenience.

Upstairs

Upstairs is fully carpeted and features 3 bedrooms; a master bedroom with en suite shower room, a cosy double room and a large twin bedroom at the rear of the cottage.  There is also a family bathroom with large corner bath (including shower head feature).  All our bedrooms are furnished with solid wood furniture and feather duvets and we can provide cots for small children.  Please let us know in advance if you have any special requirements.

Exterior

Rose cottage is a traditional 17th century cottage with lots of charm. It has a small front lawn with dry stone wall and a drive with space to park 2 cars (additional parking is available on the street).  The property has a fully enclosed rear garden which can be accessed through a lockable side gate as well as through double doors from both the kitchen and living room.  The rear garden is south facing and features a paved area with outdoor seating and a raised lawn area perfect for enjoying the summer sun.

Standard: Kettle, Toaster, Iron, Hair dryer, High chair, Kitchenware, Cooking Utensils

Utilities: Clothes dryer, Dishwasher, Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Washing machine

Included: Linen and towels are provided, All quilts are feather (if you have any special requirements please notify us in advance). 

BBQ: An outdoor coal fired BBQ is available, guests are asked to provide their own fuel (coal is available from the local garage at the end of the road).  Guests must clean the BBQ after use.

Check-In: 3pm (early check-in by arrangement only) Check-Out: 10am

Family friendly: Great for children of all ages, suitable for people with restricted mobility but please contact us to discuss your needs.

Access:  Please contact us before you make your booking to ensure we can meet your needs.  1 Rose is not recommend for wheelchair users.  At 3 Rose Cottage there is wheelchair access to the ground floor only.  Guest beds can be provided on this level and there is a toilet however showers are only available upstairs.

Will consider: Corporate bookings, Short breaks (1-4 days), Week Breaks (7 nights), Long Stays (29+ nights).  Contact us to find out more about long stay rates.

Pricing

Prices from £250* per night (min stay 2 nights)
or £1,100* per week.

Single night stays from £400

A refundable security deposit of £125 is required with every booking

*Prices listed are per cottage including up to 6 occupants.  Prices can vary, please check your dates on the booking page to view the exact pricing for your visit.

Pets are welcome: An additional flat rate charge of £50 per pet stay is required (regardless of length of stay)
